닥터 스피치(Dr.Speech)의 전기성문파형검사(EGG)는 발성시 성대 접촉을 측정하는 방법으로, 구어 산출에는 영향을 주지 않으며, 발성을 하면 성대가 접촉하게 되고 성대 좌우에 붙인 전극 사이에서 미세한 전류가 유발되는데, 이 때 임피던스의 변화를 측정합니다. 성대 주변의 EGG 파형을 동시에 제공하여 줌으로써 전극의 올바른 위치와 파형의 정확도를 검증할 수 있게 해줍니다. 이러한 멀티채널 접근법을 통하여 보다 편리하게 사용하고 신뢰할 수 있으며, 또한 음성을 산출하는 동안 후두의 상하운동을 정량적으로 측정할 수도 있습니다.(Vocal Assessment 소프트웨어에 의해 구동)
